I’m Mariah Elizondo, a rising senior at Penn State University double-majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish, with a minor in Sports Studies and a certificate from the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism. As a proud Bunton-Waller Fellow, I combine academic rigor with a unique perspective, bringing fresh energy and insight to the world of sports media.

Driven by a passion for sports, I aim to create content that informs, connects, and inspires. Whether on the sidelines, in the control room, or behind the mic, my goal is to capture the emotion, strategy, and personalities that make each game unforgettable — while amplifying underrepresented voices and empowering future generations of women of color in sports.
